2021 Power of the Purse

COVID-19 has directly impacted our organization, our community, and most importantly our girls. It has also affected the ways in which we gather together to raise the critically needed funds to support our mission. At Girls Inc. of Durham, we have dedicated ourselves to continue serving girls in any way possible during this time.
This important event will provide many ways to donate including our Online Auction, Fund-Her-Need, and Sponsorship Opportunities.
Layne the Auctionista is back again this year to host this inspiring event which will feature personal stories from our girls as well as testimonials from educators and parents.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
STEP 1 - REGISTER FOR THE ONLINE AUCTION
Bidding can be done via computer, cell phone, or tablet. The Online Auction opens on Monday, November 1st at 12:00 AM and closes at 9pm on Friday, November 5th, 2021.
STEP 2 - PURCHASE RAFFLE TICKETS
We have a great “booze basket” with assorted wines and liquors. Tickets for the raffle are $5 and are on sale now.
STEP 3 - PURCHASE YOUR CHARCUTERIE PARTY-IN-A-BOX
Enjoy a charcuterie for two while you enjoy the show. Charcuterie boxes can be picked up on November 5 after 2pm at the Girls Inc office in Ajax.
STEP 4 - WATCH THE VIRTUAL GALA
Join us on YouTube on Friday, November 5th, 2021 at 7:30pm EDT to watch the virtual gala.
During the experience, you’ll get to learn more about Girls Inc., see the girls we serve talk about how they are impacted every day, and hear from some of our biggest community supporters!
Viewing the gala is complimentary to all.
STEP 5 - SUPPORT OUR GIRLS
When you donate to Girls Inc of Durham, you are giving at-risk girls programming they need to live strong, smart, and bold lives. All donations make an impact.
